These terms explain membership pricing, recurring billing, cancellation, refunds, and related policies for travel agents affiliated with The Wander Network, Inc. (TWN). Please read them alongside your signed Independent Contractor Agreement and its exhibits before purchasing a membership.
TWN membership is for U.S.-based independent travel agents. Membership does not create an employment relationship. Your selected plan determines your membership fee and your share of eligible Net Supplier Commission.
| Agent commission share | Monthly membership | Annual membership |
|---|---|---|
| 80% of Net Supplier Commission | $38 per month | $396 per year |
| 90% of Net Supplier Commission | $59 per month | $638 per year |
All prices are in U.S. dollars. Applicable taxes, if required, are disclosed separately before payment. Annual membership is paid in one annual charge; monthly membership is billed one month at a time.
Net Supplier Commission is the booking commission TWN actually receives and retains after supplier reductions, refunds, or recalls attributable to that booking. It is not the total price of the trip. Agency-wide overrides, marketing income, and bonuses are excluded as provided in the signed agreement. Any authorized membership deductions or administrative fees are itemized separately after the agent share is calculated.
Your membership automatically renews at the selected monthly or annual frequency until canceled or otherwise terminated under your agreement. Before you authorize payment, checkout must disclose the selected fee, billing frequency, renewal schedule, and any applicable taxes. Review those details and select the billing option you want before completing checkout.
You authorize the recurring charges disclosed at checkout through the approved payment processor and must maintain an authorized payment method. We recommend allowing at least a year to build your business, but a monthly plan does not require a one-year commitment.
3.1 How to cancel. Email accounting@thewandernetwork.com from your designated membership email address. Send your request at least five calendar days before a monthly renewal or at least ten calendar days before an annual renewal. Include your name and enough information to identify your membership.
3.2 When cancellation takes effect. TWN will acknowledge your request and confirm the final service and billing dates. A timely renewal cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Your active affiliation also ends then unless you and TWN arrange a documented plan change. Canceling a future renewal does not itself create a refund for the current paid period.
3.3 Late requests and other methods. If a request arrives after the applicable deadline, it stops the following renewal unless TWN accepts an earlier cancellation or applicable law requires an earlier effective date. TWN will not charge membership fees for periods after the confirmed termination date. Any cancellation method TWN offers through an account portal will be handled consistently with the agreement.
3.4 Your cancellation rights. These renewal cancellation rules are an exception to the agreement’s general 30-day voluntary termination notice. Any nonwaivable right to a different cancellation method, shorter notice period, or earlier effective date controls. Cancellation is not conditioned on paying a disputed balance.
4.1 Monthly plans. Monthly membership payments are nonrefundable except where required by applicable law.
4.2 Initial annual membership. If you initially join on an annual plan, you may request cancellation and a prorated refund within 30 calendar days after your initial joining date. Email accounting@thewandernetwork.com. Cancellation takes effect on the date TWN receives the request unless you request a later date within that 30-day window.
4.3 Prorated calculation. The refund equals the annual membership fee actually paid multiplied by the unused calendar days in the paid annual period, divided by the total calendar days in that period. Days before the cancellation effective date are used; the effective date and later days are unused. TWN does not recalculate the used period at the monthly list price.
4.4 Renewals and later cancellations. After the initial 30-day window, annual membership payments are nonrefundable except where required by law. That initial window does not automatically restart when a membership renews, changes plans, or resumes after a previous affiliation.
4.5 Billing errors. Contact accounting@thewandernetwork.com about duplicate payments, charges for periods after the effective cancellation date, or other billing errors. TWN will review and correct billing errors. Nothing in these terms removes nonwaivable refund, cancellation, or payment-dispute rights.
5.1 Notice and time to pay. If a membership payment fails, TWN will send written notice identifying the unpaid invoice and amount, payment options, and a deadline at least 30 calendar days after the notice is sent to your designated email address without a known delivery failure.
5.2 Authorized commission deductions. Where expressly authorized by your signed agreement and permitted by law, TWN may apply otherwise payable commissions toward an actual, undisputed overdue membership balance. TWN will provide an itemized statement showing the commission earned, invoice being paid, amount applied, remaining balance, other adjustments, and net payment.
5.3 Payment credit. An authorized deduction counts as payment to the extent of the amount applied. TWN will credit the invoice promptly and prevent duplicate collection through a card retry or other payment attempt. Full payment within the notice period, whether by an authorized deduction or another method, prevents termination for the unpaid balance identified in that notice.
5.4 Partial payments and disputes. Partial payment reduces the balance but does not restart that invoice’s notice period. A newly overdue invoice receives its own notice period. TWN will address bona fide disputes and pay undisputed commissions that cannot lawfully be deducted on the applicable payment schedule.
5.5 Unresolved nonpayment. If an amount remains unpaid after the full notice period, TWN may terminate the affiliation by written notice with an effective date no earlier than the end of that period. Future membership billing stops at termination. Lawful outstanding obligations remain payable, and commissions remain subject to the agreement’s payment and deduction rules rather than automatic forfeiture.
6.1 Changing your plan. A change to your commission plan or billing frequency must be documented in writing or through an approved account or checkout system, with an effective date. Existing bookings retain their applicable commission split unless an express written agreement provides otherwise. Changing billing frequency alone does not change your commission split.
6.2 Future membership prices. A fee increase applies only to a future renewal, not during an already paid annual period. TWN will give at least 15 calendar days’ written notice and enough time before the applicable cancellation deadline for you to cancel without the increase. The notice will identify the new price and effective renewal date. Any additional notice or consent required by law will also apply.
Membership fees provide access to the services available under your selected plan and signed agreement. They are not contingent on making a booking or earning a commission. TWN does not guarantee earnings, bookings, leads, or business results. Supplier participation, systems, event schedules, and program availability may change, subject to your agreement and applicable law.
Optional event registrations, including WanderCONNECT, travel expenses, and other separately priced services are not included in membership unless the specific offer expressly says they are. Any separate charges must be disclosed and accepted before they are incurred. Refunds for those purchases follow their separately disclosed terms; a membership cancellation does not automatically cancel an event registration.
8.1 Access and existing bookings. When termination takes effect, membership access and authority to make new bookings through TWN end. Existing bookings must still be serviced through travel using supplier telephone service or another authorized method, with a handoff where needed. The signed agreement governs access restrictions, client records, booking responsibilities, and any continuing duties.
8.2 Commission requests. Ending membership does not automatically erase earned commission rights. Former agents should submit the required commission form and email accounting@thewandernetwork.com for each booking 30–60 days after travel, with the booking number, supplier, travel dates, confirmation details, and expected commission. If the form is unavailable, an email containing the required information is sufficient. This request window is not an automatic forfeiture deadline and does not override a mandatory payment deadline.
8.3 Former-agent payment fee. The agreement provides a $10 administrative fee per payment issued to a former agent, not per booking. Eligible bookings may be combined in a regular payment without waiting for every remaining trip to finish. The fee is waived when the combined amount otherwise payable, after lawful adjustments but before this fee, is $10 or less. It is also waived if that payment deducts an already assessed active-agent unreported-booking fee. The agreement contains the complete payment rules.
These membership terms explain the billing policies in your signed Independent Contractor Agreement and its exhibits. They do not replace that agreement, a separate signed program agreement, or applicable law. In a conflict, your signed agreement controls the matters it governs, subject to nonwaivable legal rights.
Posting revised website terms does not by itself amend your signed agreement or impose retroactive fees. Substantive agreement changes require the written acceptance specified in that agreement, except for future price changes made through its authorized notice process. Existing earned compensation rights remain protected.
